PCC will keep private the identity of any individual who has made a report or complaint alleging 第九条 Sexual Harassment or Discrimination, as well as the name of the complainant(s), respondent(s) or any witnesses of the alleged behavior, to the extent 可行的. Whenever possible, requests for confidentiality will be respected. 因为 of the College’s responsibility to promote a safe learning and working environment, if a pattern of harassment or discrimination is evident, or if there is a risk of harm to anyone, PCC must respond appropriately to ensure the safety of the community.

A complaint with the 教育部’s office of Civil Rights (光学字符识别) must be filed within 180 days of the date of the alleged discrimination, unless the time for filing is extended for good cause by the Enforcement Office Director.

Prior to filing a complaint with the 光学字符识别 against an institution, a complainant may want to use PCC's institutional grievance process to have the complaint resolved (though a complainant is not required by law to use the institutional grievance procedure 向光学字符识别提出投诉前). If a complainant uses an institutional grievance process, their 第九条 complaint must be filed with 光学字符识别 within 60 days after the last act of the institutional grievance process.

Reporting to Law enforcement for inquiry and investigation can help stop the behavior, prevent its reoccurrence, address the behavior through administrative and/or criminal justice systems, and allows individuals to seek remedial action – separate from, or 除了第九条报告之外.
