The Student Activity Fee was voted upon by the Associated Student Board in 2009, in order to provide even more opportunities for students. It provides funds for over 70 plus programs throughout campus in addition to supporting Associated Students events and activities.

The Student Activity Fee helps programs and events such as:

  • Esteemed speakers and authors for students
  • The PCC Band
  • Lancer Athletics
  • Campus clubs
  • The Child Development Center Program
  • Pasadena City College Commencement Ceremony
  • The Cross-Cultural Center
  • Empowerment Programs
  • PCC Photo ID
  • Homecoming

Just to name a few.

The Student Activity Fee also allows students to purchase discount movie tickets, amusement park tickets (Magic Mountain, Universal Studios), which have been especially useful during Spring Break and Halloween.  The discounted U-Pass bus passes can be used throughout Los Angeles County.

The Student Activity Fee is optional, if you do not wish to pay, a waiver is available. However, the benefits listed such as the tickets or U-Pass would not be available.  The Student Activity Fee is important for enhancing all aspects of student life at Pasadena City College.
